I’ve been looking for a new eye cream. When I visited the Kiehl’s store their sales associate recommended their Rosa Arctica Eye. Did she get it right?
Product: Rosa Arctica Eye
Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Eye is an anti-aging, rejuvenating eye balm that claims to give you younger-looking eyes.
-Warm the Rosa Arctica Eye balm by rubbing it in the jar in a circular motion.
-Pick up the eye cream with the ring finger and warm it between two fingers in a circular motion.
-Apply gently above eyes, along orbital bone from inside out along sinus pressure points.
Aqua / Water, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Squalane, Glyceryl Stearate, Theobroma Cacao Butter / Cocoa Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter / Shea Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, Beta Vulgaris / Beet Root Extract, Peg-100 Stearate, Copernicia Cerifera Cera
.5 oz – $46.00
At $46 for just half an ounce, I had high hopes for Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Eye. After all, who doesn’t get excited when they see the words “smoother,” “firmer,” and “younger-looking” written across the packaging.
This thick eye balm provides decent hydration, but that is about it. (If I’m being honest, which I always am, I’ve used other skin care products that provide better hydration.)
I didn’t experience instant illumination nor was my eye area firmer or smoother after using this Kiehl’s product.
I have been using Rosa Arctica Eye for four weeks. And, unfortunately, I’m ready to try another eye cream because this one is not doing it for me.
Kiehl’s does say if you don’t see healthier skin in 28 days they will give you your money back. So perhaps I should contact them and see if they will actually give me a refund.
